Established in 2016, we have grown to wide acclaim in a short time. In addition to managing multi-language projects to be produced in territory, we create US English versions of content from across the world at our state-of-the-art recording studio facilities, both of which are located in Sherman Oaks.

In the early days, our English dubbing team focused solely on live-action content, but have since gained extensive experience with animation, including anime dubbing. Each of our studios is equipped with a unique combination of tools and technology that allow us to implement innovative high-quality sound techniques.

Our team of skilled and passionate cross-functional professionals understand our clients’ needs, offering them a boutique service. As our facility grows, our capabilities grow with it. We have now added new services such as audio description, video game dubbing and origination/pre-lay – the creation of domestic versions of animation.

VSI LA serves as a base for the VSI Group’s operations across North America. In sync with domestic trends, our team also has the capacity to manage complex multi-language localisation projects in conjunction with the larger VSI Group.

Our services

Even as we expand the array of services we provide, our core specialty is dubbing for live action or animation. You can also rely on us to deliver high-quality origination, ADR, voice-over and centralised mixing services.

Dubbing

Exceptional dubbing goes unnoticed. It’s an art. An exercise in precision. A creative and technical challenge that can make or break a project in any market. And it’s a challenge we relish.

Subtitling

Telling a story in a new language is a difficult task, especially if it’s in the form of subtitles. There’s a lot to consider: accuracy, timing, relevance and emotion. For us, it’s business as usual.

Audio post-production

Seeing isn’t the only way of believing: great sound can move people in ways that no other format can match. It’s an art that we've been perfecting for over 33 years.

Voice-over

When it comes to storytelling, one thing is sure: what people hear is just as crucial as what they see. The right voice-over can elevate content to unforgettable status. And we know what it takes.

Our studios

VSI Los Angeles has two custom-built studio facilities, featuring a total of 7 recording/mixing studios, of which 3 are equipped for near-field Dolby Atmos Home. All rooms are interconnected and able to relay audio over an IP. With the most advanced technology and security measures in place, the site meets the most stringent standards.
