VSI Group continues investment in Mexico City facility
The VSI Group has completed the first phase of construction for its Mexico City‑based facility with planned expansions to increase the studio footprint and offer clients expanded dubbing capacity throughout 2023 and beyond.
VSI first established operations in Mexico City in 2020, following the acquisition of Argentina‑based VSI CIVISA the previous year. The company has significantly invested in this region, acquiring VSI Vox Mundi in February 2021, solidifying its place as one of the largest global localisation providers in Latin America.
The modern facility in Mexico City was constructed from the ground up to the highest international specifications. It occupies over 1,400 square metres and houses 11 state-of-the-art recording and mixing rooms. Phase two of development includes plans to upgrade to Dolby Atmos Home Entertainment and add additional studio rooms to this spacious facility. Since its opening, the team has served some of the largest content producers in the VOD, theatrical and broadcast space and continues to ramp up capacity to support their ongoing needs.
